It is a how-to guide for praying in petitions, outlining the why and what of petitionary prayer, describing how to do it practically, and walking through the process of both preparing to hear God’s voice as well as knowing what He sounds like when He speaks. Each chapter contains questions for individual or group study.
But Ordinary Prayer is more than just a how-to guide. It is a book about converting our everyday needs into channels through which God can reach us. It is about learning to see that God is calling us through every ordinary need into a deeper relationship with Him.
